What good is great software if nobody uses it? You can't even use it as a coat hanger like you can for that old treadmill that sits in your garage. You can't do anything with it unless you commit to doing it. Well, we've found that Medical Marijuana Dispensaries are too busy to manage their patients and catalogs. Who has time to send out newsletters, input tons of pictures, prices, and descriptions?

Rather than sell you a solution and hope that you use it and love it, we'll use it for you. Our new monthly service contract comes complete with the Kush-Cart.com team leading the way. Not only will we keep track of your inventory, we will manage your patient expirations, create new and innovative marketing materials and send them out in online newsletters. We will check your patient in from beginning to end.

When a new patient arrives, you fax or scan their profile page and send it to us. We will input them into your system, verify their script, and send them an activation email. When their script gets close to running out, we will email them at pre-determined intervals for you (ie. 90 days, 60 days, 30 days, 15 days, 7 days, and 1 day). Talk about CUSTOMER RETENTION!

Welcome to the first blog for Kush-cart.com. 2009 was a big year in the field of Legal Medical Marijuana in both California and the rest of the United States. Although California has had legal medicinal marijuana since 1996, the "limelight" did not really fall upon it until 2009. It was in early 2009 that we decided that the time had come to offer up a solid E-commerce solution for the Medical Marijuana Dispensary and Delivery service and we worked on bringing that solution to the industry all year long.

E-commerce features

The software is engineered with the dispensary or delivery service owner in mind from the ground up. The ability to manage not only all of your products and services, but also your patients records and doctor recommendations expiration dates are just a few of the features Kush-Cart offers. The store is 100% web-based and can be accessed by it's owner (and their employees) from any computer connected to the Internet. It can be used as a Point of Sale system allowing orders to be placed online or in the store. It can also be used simply as a Catalog, displaying all of the products and services, but not allowing the patients to actually add items to a shopping cart or purchase online. In talking to several Dispensary and delivery service owners we found that there was a mix of people who wanted either a full online store or just a catalog, so we offer both. The business owner can decide if they want their entire inventory to be only displayed to registered patients with a login or to the entire world wide web.

Newsletter functionality

Our software suite includes a very full featured Newsletter component. This allows you to send emails on either an automated or manual basis, which can include any products from your store or webpages from your site. You can send out as many newsletters as you want and filter which patients will receive them. This is an outstanding communication and marketing tool, which will help ensure you are in constant communication with your customer.

Patient Record Managment

Our software allows you to add all patients to the system and upload their documents and set their expiration date. The business owner can build email templates and determine when they go out to the patients, reminding them of their Doctor's recommendation and it's expiration date. Powerful search and reporting tools allow the business owner to see which patient's records are getting close to expiring. Giving the business owner a very proactive approach to ensuring that their customers stay compliant with State and Local laws.
